About Us
Overview
JADO´s mission is to develop novel small molecule drugs through our unrivalled insight into an emerging area of cell membrane chemistry centered on RAFTs.
Traditional drug development involves targeting a specific protein with simple solution assays. JADO’s focus is different; we explore the 3-dimentional RAFT domain that surrounds this protein. This dynamic and discrete membrane structure contains specific lipids and proteins, which together acts like a gateway and controls a number of cell signalling processes, including those that are pathological.
By utilizing our proprietary RAFT Intervention Technology®, JADO has first mover advantage in developing intervention therapeutics. Our technology provides an insight into diverse pathological mechanisms and drives the design of novel drugs. We have generated a pipeline of small molecule drug candidates initially focusing in allergy and infectious diseases. The technology has broad applicability so may have potential in several other diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, metabolic disorders and cancer. We believe by targeting RAFTs, our drugs will have a novel mode-of-action and provide increased specificity, efficacy and potency.
Our in-house teams are supported by recognized leaders in research and the clinic, bringing world class expertise to our lead-programs in allergy and infectious diseases.
